Correct me if I am wrong: but didn’t the Confederate shots fire the first shots. Correct me if I am wrong: but wasn’t the Star of the West and Fort Sumpter fired upon first, prior to any Northern hostilities? Or was there some Northern agressive that occured first?
What steps: prior to Sumpter did Lincoln entertain that started this little war?
