I'm working on a picture (drawing) of a female US army solider, while looking on Google for different example pics I noticed the patches on the soldiers left (?) arms were all different.
Am I right to say each group has a different patch? (and what EXACTLY do u call a group of soldiers? platoon, troop, ect???)
That is a Division patch on that soldiers arm , anything else on a soldiers arm is a qualification tab.
You would probably refer to a group of soldiers as soldiers, nothing else.
every division (or in same cases brigades since there are brigades that are not part of a division) has its own patch.
